Peach Tree Counseling offers in-person psychotherapy in Old City, Philadelphia and online psychotherapy to individuals, ages 18 and above, throughout Pennsylvania. Nicholas Del Pesco, MA, LPC  began Peach Tree Counseling in 2016 with the intention of making access to psychotherapy as convenient as possible by offering clients a variety of ways to connect to their therapist.

Nicholas began his career in human services at Northeast Treatment Centers in Philadelphia, PA where, over the course of 7 years, he worked as Youth Advocate for adjudicated adolescents, lead clinician for a community based treatment team and outpatient therapist. After becoming a licensed psychotherapist in 2014, Nicholas worked as outpatient therapist for multiple companies in the Philadelphia area where he helped clients manage or overcome symptoms related to anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, bipolar disorder and adjustment and relational issues.

Nicholas’ therapeutic approach is strongly rooted in humanistic psychology. As described in an article from the Association for Humanistic Psychology, this approach offers a "crucial opportunity to lead our troubled culture back to its own healthy path. More than any other therapy, Humanistic-Existential therapy models democracy. It imposes ideologies of others upon the client less than other therapeutic practices. Freedom to choose is maximized. We validate our client's human potential." Nicholas also utilizes aspects of Buddhist psychology including mindfulness, which enhances each client’s ability to monitor present moment experience. He specializes in life adjustments, mood disorders and mindfulness training but can assist clients with a wide range of issues.
